I am just flagging this up on here in case any of you are interested in coming. This is a great point to point course, one of the best in the country with good sized fields - due to the well watered ground and good going.
Gourmet food vans, award winning burgers - he grinds his own beef, bakes his own brioche buns and candies his own jalapenos and sauces, Authentic Italian stone baked pizzas Bouncy castle for little ones and a Cheap bar for the adults, £13 entry if pre book tickets before the day.

Great viewing and a fantastic atmosphere and all are welcome .
If anyone is planning on coming let me know and I will stand you a beer or if you know a sensible horse worth backing it will make my day even better ! .
I've been in the past. It is a nice place. I did have to stop a novice friend of mine from backing on the pony races.I think the overround was something like 700% (sic).

You are quite correct 11kv, AH has been out early mornings on the tractor keeping it well watered. Salmon S, yes it is a lovely spot with the car park on a hill with the course below as a natural amphitheatre. Couldn't be better.

hope you all enjoy it . ive never been but have had friends who lived near to the course and loved it madly . i'm afraid ptp is dying off in the north / north west . and i'm not keen on these small field ' proper ' jumpimg tracks that quite frankly have not the entries or water to make it decent... and ludlow i feel for . i will watch the terrific field for the french 2,000 with a glass of red at home . york is on the horizon and a different mindset will take place .

Thank you Windsor knot, I'm sure we will. Hope you enjoy the sunshine and have a food day watching the guineas. A shame to hear about other areas not doing so well.
We are so fortunate at Kingston blount with Alan Hill watering constantly to give good racing ground and as a result there are decent size fields with good racing. The course is in better condition than some under rules.
