Mullins has continually said what a good job they have done. I would like to hear from someone who hasn't trained a million winners and wanted to bring a genuine good ground horse to the meeting. Isn't it reasonable to expect good ground when it doesn't rain. Instead they have provided an artificial soft. The times have been slow. Plenty of horses have bombed this week, and there may be various reasons, but the ground must be one of them.
The meeting has nearly ended and now they have suddenly twigged that the ground on the outside appears to be much quicker. Presumably, they have thrown a ton of water on the inside, and not bothered so much with the outside.
