She's making her turf debut and the trainer has only had two winners since he took out a licence but I still can't work out why Muddy Mooy is as big as 28/1. She was only a running on two and three quarter lengths behind today's favourite, Crimson Advocate over a mile at Kempton last time having taken a more circuitous route. Lightly raced as a three year old, she has continued to improve and has always shown a willing attitude in a finish. The second favourite Sirona may just need the run as did her stable companion who nevertheless ran very well in a Group 2 at Sandown recently. Bright Thunder's run with a first-time tongue tie at The Curragh showed she could be a real danger to all and maybe I'm reading to much into my selection's proximity to Soprano at Kempton and Bright Thunder's 11 length beating by the same horse last season, but I do think she won't be out of place here and that she won't just be aiming for some black type but could be capable of going very close - if she can reproduce her AW running on the turf.
