Elis… Thank you mate I found the statement account an there is no bets showing that I put on so I’m absolutely baffled by this…
I can only assume I picked the horses and didn’t push the place bet button/icon which I thought I did so I really am going doolaly but I thought I put on a £1 trixie for £4 and two £3 wins for a total of only a £10 so not lost a lot but I was so convinced I put that bet on but I can’t explain it or maybe I can as I had a stroke 6 months back so the old brain matter maybe going completely again lol |

Had this happen before Danaho.
Only small bet but after horse won it didnt show anywhere P+l or statement in account. !00% bet was placed and betfair found something on their system to say a bet had been struck but couldnt tell what it was surprisingly. I ended up accepting a free bet as i had no proof anywhere. |

I guess a screenshot is necessary if it's a biggie. Otherwise, it could be financially painful.

I actually did that from there on for a while impossible.
I accepted it was a one off after a few months but I'll start doing it again I think. |

The stable lad punter was smart placing his £60 e/w bet in the shop. Otherwise, the bookie could try the "convenient" slip disappearance as another excuse for not paying up. However, I'm surprised bookies can lose one's bets when forensic coppers can retrieve info from one's mobile and laptop for incriminating evidence against the accused/suspect in a criminal case.
Bookies need to be reined in legally. They are "policing" themselves with extremely biased terms and conditions set and adjudicated by themselves. Their self-interest decisions are usually final, even IBAS cannot overturn. |

Thanks Everyone much appreciated the feedback but I just think I picked out the horses and done something else then forgot and assumed I put the bet on? My outlay was £10 in a trixie and two £3 wins one of which was swagman at 9/2 so returns would’ve been £16.50 so no big loss but would’ve been gutted if all three won so morale of story double check you’ve actually pressed the send button

Thanks Everyone for your help on this…
I think the Incel culture has caught up with Rico… He really is disturbed |

The equivalent of this sharp practice is the "In-Running" bets on The Exchange. For instance, if the final matched price of a leading (but eventually) losing horse had been 1.05 yet one's 'lay' bet of 1.09 was not matched. The "insider" activity is rife.

This just happened to me too. I placed a reverse forecast but exchange voided my bet as one horse was withdrawn at the barrier. This still left 9 runners but the Exchange rules say that if any are withdrawn at the barrier then all bets are voids with stakes returned. The strange thing is that no Transaction ID's appear so the money is taken and returned with no evidence that it ever existed.

deBurgh - that is because Exchange bets do not appear in your Statement until they are settled - otherwise the cost is taken from (and in this case returned to) your exposure.
You ought to be able to see them through My Account -> Betting History by using the "voided" option for bet status, but I confess I have not tried that for an age. |

Recently I spent 5-10 minutes looking all over the place for my wallet, until I noticed that I was holding it in my left hand. Another time was filling the lawnmower with petrol. When I came to put the cap back on couldn't find it. Never saw it again. Then there was the time I went to school with a trainer on one foot and a shoe on the other. Don't recall when I realised, but when I did it was too late!
I'd prolly go for doolally myself. |
