Fair play to Rebecca Curtis for going to Fairyhouse. Not enough GB trainers make the effort to go to Ireland. Well judged ride from Sean Bowen and the horse is such a sound jumper. One of the most satisfying races to watch in a while.
The horse was sweating up at the start - which probably put quite a few off, but as you say jumped beautifully and was never really challenged! This race is usually a good form line for the Grand National so it'll be interesting to hear if this is the target.

He won like a good thing; he jumped like a stag. It was never in doubt with the old boy Any Second Now chasing; the fav made a couple of bad errors at the key moments. I'm so glad for the horse and his trainer. I hope more British trainers would be more enterprising and take up the Irish gauntlet at their backyard.
