On the subject of accidental antisemitic tropes, has Lineker been moonlighting as a Daily Telegraph headline writer?
Criminals to be released after a third of prison sentence Inmates will be able to earn freedom through work, training or education and by demonstrating good behaviour https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/05/13/criminals-release-third-of-prison-sentence/ Hmm. What's German for freedom through work? |

Inmates should already be working, it's not supposed to be a holiday camp. But they should get paid.

I think that Ramrunas 10.07 post rather went above peoples heads, as it did to the millions of Jews who walked beneath it.

I'm glad, finally. He costs the BBC way too much. He's only a TV presenter, not someone who saves lives, or provides a major service eg NHS or social. I'm absolutely certain the programme can carry on without him.
Win! Win! for TV licence payers. |
|
By:
Carry on with Gabby Logan who'll presumably be looking for the same money Gazza was on ...

Kelly from Sky has been earmarked I think, a much better presenter than the righteous jug ear creep!

I can still remember vividly when Mr Lineker was "prepared" by The BBC for this role. He was plain awful - a stereotypical footballer eg struggling to read the autocue; struggling to pronounce the words; struggling to look into the camera at the right moment. He was just bad. Had it been an audition he'd have fallen in the 1st 10 mins, and never to return.
But, The BBC persevered for weeks/months, why? Probably his squeaky clean image; football pin-up boy; former England captain. The BBC even overlooked his advert for a snack. But, he's done damage to The BBC time and time again on social media. I do not think Ms Logan will be that way inclined. I think she knows and understands her position, and feelings of the tv licence payers. |

I do not even watch the entire programme now. All the post match analysis = audience nausea and presenter/pundits ego boosting/massaging.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but it does not work in football punditry. |

I've seen a trailer with Lineker for that audience with special needs program,
he reminded me of that creepy bird from the Snow White debacle, smug isn't the word. |

people like him dont demand a boycott of iran or china. iran has sworn to murder every jew it can and destroy israel. and uses its oil revenue to arm hamas and hezbollah while murdering itsr own, home and abroad. wimmin risk death by going out withourt a bag over their head. to a chorus of silence from progressive types who are only outraged by israel |
