So, I watched the 2024 Grand National 3 times. Minella Indo travelled around on the bridle for 4m+ on the bridle, Rachel Blackmore shook the reigns, led until the elbow finished 3rd. This year, laid out for the race, didn't run in Cheltenham, ran in a hurdle to preserve handicap mark in February. Trained by a genius in Henry de Bromhead. Yes, I know he is 12 but is 3lb lower than last year and a fresher horse this year having been laid out for the race. 50/1 is ridiculous although Ladbrokes and Sky bet have suddenly realised he is a certain to be in the frame.
Good thinking mate. I backed it last year and it was absolutely cruising throughout, just failing to last home. I will give it another go but you have to think at 12 he might be vulnerable now that the National is a different type of race. Rachael rides Aintree well so that's a plus. Good luck.
