interesting to see how much i lose |
By:
just walked the dog, ground round here's gone from soft to firm, drying weather
By:
Yes, mitolo
Sometimes the small fields make for good placepots Perm them up and hope for outsiders |
By:
Swifty, possibility of more non runners then
By:
Disappointing but inevitable whenever the f word features in 5he going description
By:
Wouldn't be surprised Reg, same place, 2 weeks ago squelchy, now firm and dusty.
By:
Was thinking of jumping on the train and going down, less than an hour, but nothing worth going for, imo
Shame, because I like to support local tracks |

Did your dog water the track swiftynifty?

By:
Yes, now good to Firm, heavy in places
By:
Could be a walkover or two across the country with no rain forecast for another week.

I'm going. The free bus leaves Exeter St David's at 12.45. Plus it's a Taunton members' reciprocal day as well as an RTV Club day.
For the cost of a train ticket and the Post, I'd rather spend the afternoon in the sunshine on Haldon Hill moaning about the card with the regulars than stuck indoors moaning about the card on here. |
By:
sfb, you're right, there'll still be 7 winners, hope you find some.
By:
Thank you. But there'll be twenty-three losers too.
It's a tough old game. |

Screaming have a good day
Would definitely have gone if it was Newton Abbot even with small fields, just love the track, whereas Exeter not so much a favourite for me Regarding the free bus, I went to Taunton by train 2 weeks ago and got the free bus to the course. But on return the driver just let the first 50 or so people on without checking tickets, luckily I made it. About a dozen people left scrambling around for taxis. |

Exeter well placed today to extend their lead to four in the number of '2-runner-National Hunt-races' staged since 2008..

mitolo, you still in?!
By:
I am drawn to small fields where all are contendors, like the 5.25 at Wolves tonight
3, 4 or 5 runners is OK as long as they are open. |
By:
pays over a grand
By:
no im 8888 not
3 n/rs after shut off that went onto the jolly-the very thing i did not want and the reason i did the **** in the 1st place. they all blew out. cost me plenty that has. i had 16 lines for 10 quid that went out leg 5 cos of n/r and a big perm for 50p ruined. got the ump |
By:
not surprised , very gettable but 96 perms to get on to leg 5, I decided with the last 2 legs I'd need too many, would've gone down in the last as it happened.
By:
going down in the last isnt a problem as you know what it will pay and can act according
i always bank on 1 in the last for this reason |

Anyone know the lowest number of runners at a fixture ever.
Interesting to see a graph on this, Pointless averages saying more runners etc, But then number of meetings with less runners is increasing. |
