when I was young if trainer or jockey had 4 winners they were tearing it up
the winners got shared around & it was far far better than this

if you want boring, think Scottish football and the 2 bigot brothers...now that is boring.

We somehow end up hating everyone who continues to be the best at what they do whilst putting even more daylight between the rest , ask Phil Taylor and Stephen Hendry as they suffered the boring tag for years simply because they were so much better than the rest.

nobody is hating anyone, simply find the lack of competition completely tedious
and this is supposedly the best that the sport has to offer that's the frightening part

Hendry played snooker like Jimmy White...Difference being Stephen potted all the balls , and especially the balls that counted...Jimmy didnt.

i had numerous bets on Stephen, biggest minerals in sport imo.

Wonder, when you were younger it was a different racing World , trainers trained max of 60 horses simple as . Nicholls has nearly as big a string as any trainer yet trains 1 winner in a handicap paying 750,000 for it , so less of the poor , those Irish trainers get ALL the big money horses..

The other trainers need to do better....There is plenty money sloshing around...Buy better....

If it carries on like this English trainers will save their horses for Aintree. Then the Irish can win everything at Cheltenham.

Tbf, the one after the champion hurdle was a bit different because he was clearly stunned, if that's the right word to use.

....What does this trainer do that other top trainers aren't doing ?..

The horses must all sleep/eat/poo/and gallop up a hill.....so, is is the feed/ viamins/legal dierary boosters ?......must be something.

Maybe he just finds better horses.This is no accident to keep doing it .

Doubt that will happen clacton as 99% of punters don't give a toss about Ireland vs Britain they just want a bet that'll hopefully win.

Reckon 99.9% would never have heard of the Prestbury Cup , it's all about witnessing the best and generally they happen to be trained in Ireland in the current climate cycle.

Some of the winners this week have been joyful to watch even without a bet , pleasure to see   

JDV didn't jump well today, he lost ground at a number of flights, it's just that the track and his class against slower horses meant that it wasn't terminal.

I'm talking about trainers going to Aintree.
