Think you would have been second but good shout. He conformed to the rule of the day apart from the novice hurdle and the bumper. Back horses with previous Festival form. Both Marine Nationale and Quilixios had won at the Festival as had the third Capt. Guinness. Stumptown, Jazzy Matty and Jimmy du Seuil had finished first or second at previous Festivals.

Very surprised if he had got within three lengths. Flanagan was sitting on him for two fences. He was not stopping up the hill.

I was on 50s win only and had the winner but them 50s don’t come along regular, not sure would have won
