In hindsight Brigherdaysahead caught the field by surprise in Leopardstown over xmas.
There was no way that having seen that, the likes of Hendo or Mullins were going to let the Giggy horses loose on the lead. Still, she brought something different to the party and she may have taken her main rivals out of their comfort zone. So much so that it affected the result. |

By:
3 rags breezed by her on the run in,that's how far they were out of their comfort zone, race was slower at every stage than the supreme and over 4 secs slower overall, CH/state man didn't get out of 1st gear

Strange why they went so slow with K.O.Kingsfield. BDA has shown 1 out the park performance off a what appeared to be a "suicidal" pace. That said BDA was legless up the run in off the steady gallop.

trainers are either thick as fook ,liars or kidding themselves and public, BDA iOS either 2 stone in front of every other Elliot hurdler at home or he isn't,they must have known if that one run was a fluke or not
state man would have beat him 1st time out if he,d jumped the last and he was beaten here last yr, did he then improve 2 stone in one run ?, and if he did why was he only a cH runnber last week he,s probably just a small field slow ground time trialist ,type of horse, she,ll either be in mares hurdle or mares chase next yr or straight to l,pool, especially if giggy don't have a winner this week maybe they missed the DRF to keep the illusion alive or we might have all known 6 weeks ago |

horse racing never fails to amaze..horse do disappoint but BDA was woeful.
|
|
By:
woeful ?
if he hadn't been hampered he was going to to run within a pound of his chelt run with golden ace depends if you believed the hype |
|
By:
OR 155 after Leopardstown..ran to about 130 yest.
|
|
By:
therefore you must believe STATE MAN was 2 stone behind BDA despite the fact he,d have beaten him 6 weeks earlier if he hadn't made a mistake at the last

Brighterdayahead bombed yesterday. The race fell apart - Lossiemouth didn't run, and both Constitution Hill and State Man fell. I am not buying that State Man suddenly found 20lbs. He was clear of Golden Ace who was actually closing him down. I think yesterday's slow pace suited him more than anything else. The fast pace had found him out on his two previous runs. Had they gone a pace I think Golden Ace might well have beaten him. As for the Punchestown defeat Brighterdaysahead lost many lengths jumping left, and didn't have a pacemaker, but still beat him.

one thing is sure CH would have hosed up...but you've got to jump.
|
|
By:
Even though he fell State Man proved that defeat by Brighterdaysahead all wrong.
He wasn't right that day. |

Mullins enforcing the jockey's choice of rides cost the owner Ricci a Champion Hurdle winner in Lossiemouth imo. The Champion Hurdle was run perfectly for her to sit and wait then pull the trigger up a hill she loves.

By:
The only way State Man could have proved anything relative to Brighterdaysahead was if she had run her race which she clearly didn't. All he was doing was beating Golden Ace by a diminishing margin.
|
|
By:
why didn't she, without been hampered she would have finished within a few lbs within where she finished with golden ace 12 months ago
|
|
By:
or through jade de grugy she,s getting hammered by lossie in mares
