The Jukebox Man was injured (although he would have been better in the old Turners), and the owner took out the strong stayer, Handstands, to run on a sharper track at Aintree. That sort of thinking doesn't help.

UK trainers are chickens! They would rather save their bullet for Aintree; Punchestown is persona non-grata too for UK trainers.

Nobody in GB are buying proper staying chasers. Very sad. The days of Bobsworth, Denman, Trabolgan, Native River etc. are long gone. It is a combination of the rising costs against static prize money and the lack of the old NH owners who have died or lost interest. Handstands would surely have been placed but then he might win at Aintree.
