Lumped on good to soft??     Forecast to remain mainly dry until Wednesday. Light showers possible on Monday (1mm) DOnt think  it will change anything @ that level.  Evapotranspiration (mm) has averaged 1.1mm a day over last 7 days. Altho cooler & less sunny

Having supplemented it over weekend i  imagine the intentions are to run whether it rains or not.

Very pleased it has been supplemented as I backed it last April. Much more chance of being at least placed in a Gold Cup than winning a National. Trainer was always wary of the National. If you aren't the right type then it doesn't matter what weight you have.

The quote was 'soft in the description'. Given the cold temperatures it's very unlikely to dry out that much during the four days. It won't be any worse than what he ran very well on in the Irish Gold Cup.

I live 20 mins walking time from the course Rico. It's a light shower that has now stopped. I doubt it'll register above 1mm. Real problem is how much water the CoC has put on the new course as differentdrum has reported it'll be colder though mostly dry the rest of the week.

It's a steady drizzle over the past hour, near the track. Can't imagine it'll change the going significantly.
