I always felt Istabraq was a little overrated he beat little in his 3 champion hurdles perhaps with the exception of French holly ,he might not have even won the sun alliance hurdle if the runner up had a decent jockey on board ,however he won 4 times at the festival and god knows how many grade ones in Ireland so at this moment in time it’s understandable that some think constitution hill has a bit more to do to be considered better.

Bit like comparing footballers in that you have to wait until their respective careers are over or nearly over to compare.

Istabraq was a very very good horse for a long time with a lot of Grade 1 wins/runs and Constitution Hill still has a bit to do yet to be considered a superior animal IMHO.
