I was asked to buy Brookie (small cube-size candy) in a Lidl store on friday. How ironic to see the horse winning the next day...unnoticed by me. A similar situation with a Grand National winner called Mon Mome; I met a friend called Mona just the day before too.

But, I did get a helping hand from a bookie staff; she wrongly identified the number of the horse, and wrote out Red Marauder (the winner) instead which I gladly accepted.
