Is there much point in running the Plumpton meeting today?
A maiden hurdle with only 6 runners and of the other races none have double digit runners.
And Ayr has an 8 runner maiden hurdle, a 3 runner novice chase and a 5 runner bumper.
Could they not have cancelled these and given everyone a day off.
