howard -- it looks like the problem is at your end, probably exacerbated by a cockup at the Post's end.
Clear your browser cache, and delete any Racing Post cookies. Then try again. Basically, I am guessing the Post has made changes but your browser has cached some old page content and between the two of them, well... |
|
By:
That page comes up for me until I sign in to my account when it is fine. I am cancelling my basic account when it falls due in May and as soon as I did that they gave me the full service free of charge until May. They are trying to get much higher income from subscriptions and removing content for those who don't pay.

By:
Aye ... Loads of info not available, despite their promise if you joined via email etc.
Expert timing just weeks before some of the biggest festivals of the season. Huge mistake. |

lads
I sent a couple of you a pm if your interested in reading stuff and the form about a forum I have run for years completely free. join up if your interested |

What annoys me is the Post wastes a third of each page telling us about new customer offers for different bookmakers.
FFS we are spending hundreds of pounds a year to subscribe -- what makes you think we are new to the game? |

FFS we are spending hundreds of pounds a year to subscribe -- what makes you think we are new to the game? Exactly and introducing us to bookmakers who give them a joining up fee and if you are lucky enough to win a nifty they want all the families passports and details before they pay you, They should not advertise them if they don't take responsibility for said bookmakers actions towards the punters. |

Eventually after about 7 attempted logins and 8 hoop jumps it might let you in.
A simple click was found to be beyond their capabilities. Some more work for the boys though. |

not content with cheesing off people who buy the wretched thing every day, at a cost of £1800 pa they are now antagonising the online mob also
dreading the day i will have to become on of them |

For anyone unable to log in, try this:
Click on "MY ACCOUNT" Press on "LOG IN" Enter you email and password On my machine it says "VERIFY YOU ARE HUMAN" Then I have to click anywhere on that site Click on "LOG IN" My account with blank Personal details come up. Click on the Racing Post You should then be in |
|
By:
Not sure the Post is taking any Free info away from anyone, I have been on the site for a number of years now and nothing has changed other than having to log onto your acc, which in all honesty if you find that difficult you shouldnt be on there.

Of course "if you are not "SURE" then run through it all again just to be on the safe side.

How am I supporting them ?? I have said more than once that I dont subscribe a penny, I know of the other websites but why move when I can get all the info I need there. ??
|
|
By:
.... I always ignore the blank boxes after I have logged in and just click back to the homepage.
|

By:
I've completely moved to using the cards on irishracing.com
just as good and it shows all the price moves Tom Kerr can get fúcked with his naked cash grab. Hopefully the paper dies and something useful rises out of the ashes |

Fascinating, what do you get on that site that I can't get ot the RP site.?
|
|
By:
The reason why I have subscribed to the RP basic package until now has been to use the breeding and bloodstock pages, the ability to calculate my own ratings relative to RPR and until fairly recently to read some of the news articles. The latter are now restricted to those paying the £500 version (as are tipsters but I would not look at them if they were free). So once my sub runs out in May, I will be relying on other sources and saving nearly £300. For me the most important info is contained in the statistics section. Trainers, jockeys, sires are all vital to my betting strategy. Form is a factor but not the biggest and form is available everywhere. The ability to rate a race and go back 3 months later is important as RPR do not do that. The RP rating for a Derby winner in its maiden win stays the same as do the ratings of those who finish behind it.

Sage,if you get in touch with them they’ll offer you a deal if you tell them you’re leaving,I had about 4 months off but did miss it more than I thought, like reading the paper night before and breeding etc,so I bit the bullet and subscribed again, they knocked me £100 off, does annoy me that I’m paying for all these bloody tipsters who like yourself have absolutely no interest in but have to swallow it.

The racing Post gives the reason for most n/rs as far as I can see ... These from Fontwell yesterday for example. ...
8 ran NR: Lightonthewing (travel problems), Oneandahalfdegrees (unsuitable ground) |
|
By:
Yes, but for future runs when you click on a horses name it won't tell you the races it's missed and why, at least i can't see that anywhere.
|
|
By:
I think your getting it mixed up stewart you always only got it in the results section.
Look at results you get reason. |

I registered again using my other email address seems OK so far.
