When someone is poor in the cash builder and then they say: "we just you want you back". Why?

An extra point?

But what if the person then proves to be a bit of a liability in the final chase:

Messes up on one question costing valuable time, then...

"Which dairy product...?"

It's commonplace now to take minuses, and without people appearing to get too upset. That used to be one of the few points of interest.

Indeed, like the Scottish fella who called someone a "maggot" for taking the lower offer.

I saw the clip on twitter last night, but I remember watching it at the time and he was that angry it affected him in the final chase and they didn't win.

But the two on today's show, deducted £19K between them in minus offers.

just the same on millionaire where especially on the celebrity editions ,the complete moron CLARKSON who has no idea how to play the game talks contestants to fritter away the best lifeline 50/50 as fast as he can on the basis if you no that it isn't its chocks away
surely the way/plan to play millionaire is to get to 2nd lifeline with 50/50 still available so at worst you've basically got a free 50/50 punt to win your lifeline amount
once you get past 16 grand audience basically useless the spread of answers will be to wide as ? ,s get harder
phone a friend the ?,s/choices tend to get longer and longer as the money gets bigger
but they toss the 50/50 aside as though its virtually worthless
