If you buy uk legal tender gold coins you
will have no capital gains tax to pay, so
may be better than gold bars.

if you put your gold bars in a safety deposit box in a bank all the bank staff call you by your first name, when you walk into the bankGrin

Brass, I went to open a safe deposit box in the bank and was told no cash or gold bars could be deposited there... How they would know I'm not sure

I showed them how much I was winning on here and the problems I had hiding it away and they could see my problem

Just sold all my 1.85oz Brittania coins sets for £4202 a pop. Gold is so high they're not worth any more than the scrap value and will be melted down.
