It's a very poor punting day, and I was in two minds whether it was worth putting this up.
The first thing to say is it looks a weak bumper with plenty of inexperienced jocks.
I thought Tiffiny's Girl was much too big at 66/1. I saw her as a 16-20/1 shot. Unfortunately, so far, nobody seems to concur. Still time I suppose. She has a decent pedigree that contains the likes of Robinsfirth, and going further back, Strong Promise. In the context of this race, I thought there was definite promise in her two hurdle runs. Last time she travelled strongly out the back, and was making (significant) ground when coming down. Another two furlongs might have been quite informative. The trainer can get the odd bumper winner, and she has one the best jocks on board, particularly on a hold up horse.
The other one I like is Miss Penny Copper from the excellent 'Copper' line which has served the family so well. She is a nice big mare who should progress, but she didn't look a bumper type on rules debut. Both horse and jock looked to be caught out, and she got too far back. Not sure she has the required tactical speed to back up her stamina - the 10/1 is tempting enough, particularly as I think the 66/1 has better credentials.
Strange, Bet365, assuming they are taking more bets than the others, if this actually does place they are going to look quite foolish.
jimnast, I think you are pretty safe.Strange, Bet365, assuming they are taking more bets than the others, if this actually does place they are going to look quite foolish.
Thanks, plenty of these touches land, but I can't ever remember being on at the start of any. At least it's been fun watching the market.
It's quite tempting to cash out one of my bets for a profit, but at the moment I will let them run.

Such is life. Bookmakers saved by a horse bolting up to give trainer his first winner. I managed to make a small profit as my three bets were 75/1, 66/1, and I saved at 28/1 5 places.
