However, the mentality of a criminal is more dependent on their upbringing, type of environment, beliefs, and to a lesser extent parental genes and religion. This is exemplified by the political instability, conflicts and disturbances in some areas of the world; some areas with conflicts ranging for years and decades yet unresolved and ongoing.
