Not sure what they were looking at there. Was it really 1st and 2nd?

they don't give a flying now Mr.Hunt...
they are happy to leave it at 56k at 1.06 the 'winner' and take what they get out of that... shameful really. |

An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference inside the final ½ furlong involving the winner, MAJOR MAJOR (IRE), ridden by Sean Levey and ROYAL OBSERVATION, placed second, ridden by Billy Loughnane. The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved MAJOR MAJOR (IRE)’s placing as although ROYAL OBSERVATION was intimidated slightly off its intended line the gelding did not suffer any loss of momentum and was always being held by MAJOR MAJOR (IRE) with the winning distance being a head. Leavy was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed without sufficient correction, causing ROYAL OBSERVATION to be carried off slightly its intended line.

thats absolute bollox as jock on 2nd had to yank its head to stop its momentum towards 3rd. |

By:
you'll find an awful lot of what is written in those reports is "absolute bollox"
hence you can no longer bet on a stewards with any degree of certainty .... |
