Too right Sir Keir, I became suspicious when they started placing the population under house arrest for 23 hours day, before trying to mandate for all a potentially lethal potion; then my suspicions grew even stronger when they got more power and took away the winter fuel allowance, even though their own research had estimated that such a policy could kill around 4,000 old folk (yep, and the rest).
Things took a turn for a worse when these young misfits in their bedrooms wanted to start firing British-made missiles deep into Russia, even though they'd barely been in power for a month or two. Thankfully though, they won't be getting anywhere near the Crown Prosecution Service and letting the likes of Jimmy Saville off, which of course you would never do Sir Keir. So my sincere thanks to the prime minister, for warning us about who we're being threatened by. |

I was referring to recent arrivals eg those in the last 10 years.
Last week I was in need of advice accessing my Pension Account; calling Pension Helpline was a non-starter. I decided to pop into the Job Centre given (I was familiar with this department during Covid for Universal Credit. All I'd see was loads of non-locals waiting to be seen. The scene was the same when I popped into Sutton Library looking for an empty table to fill in an application form whilst my car was being repaired. There was not even one available, even the chairs were taken up by dossers there for the warmth and comfort away from the cold open ground; this is not the purpose of the library. But, the library staff did nothing. |

Most migrants either do useful work or live with relatives but there are still a few tens of thousands who have no job and no home. Most countries would leave them to live rough or put them in custody. We put them in hotels for free as there are no vacant houses, give them free health care, clothing and food. Meanwhile the number of homeless long term UK residents is rising as rents rise, unskilled jobs decline and services to help them are not funded. It is this inequality that angers people and turns them to Reform.

Lack of housing/rising rents = buy-to-let/multi-property ownership.
The panacea is to manage/restrict/ban by introducing a single house-ownership reform/policy eg no public entity house-ownership; max two property-ownership per un-related individual; homes for locals only; prohibiting external ownership eg holiday homes. All these for the foreseeable future to tackle a lack of housing and increase in homelessness; houses are for living -in (not profiteering). |
