i said that day the winner had improved 2st and no jockey would have won on fav.
Yeah I saw your view on the thread. I remember the commentary Mark Johnson said the horse had stolen it. I thought at the time the fav would never beat the winner.
Remember the race very well , it was probably the best bad e/way race in the last 12 months.
Was referring to the racecard maths / shape and some exposure over any alternatives plus the uncertainty of the jockey on the fav , it was 1st run after a breathing op as well...
Consequences were it was the need for a bookmaker not the exchange , it was 14/1 an hour before the off.
