Ronnie, my mate, a baldy manager I saw yesterday, said he took 75 slips over the counter last week on a day where the 2024 figures for the same day were 250
And the average slip stake was lower

Peeps can't be 4rsed writing out a betting slip.

15 year's  ago the average  slip stake  was over 9 pound a slip.know its less than a fiver we even took a 10p bet yesterday.

There's 2 fellas who put 500 plus over the counter every day in my local shop but that's with about 50 slips each! It's a nightmare if they've just got to the counter in front of you

Just to clarify, the baldy shop manager I mentioned earlier is from a different local shop... He would love to have 2 such punters although they don't lose much as they tend to back 4 or 5 horses in each race on different slips! Strange betting strategy

All my L15's are in baldys, singles are mainly in Hills as they offer BOG on singles at all meetings up to £200.

DG didn't know that... You got to have a card/membership thing for the Hills BOG?

No, only available in shops within close proximity to a baldy shop. Don't know about laddies/coral as none near me. There are 4 baldy shops within 3 miles of me, I am SP only at 1 shop but ok at the other 3.
