I'm at the track saying my goodbye.
Lots of very happy memories to take with me though but it's a very sad day for the sport. |

A friend and I drove to the track to watch Alpine Rocket in the late 80's. It was a very long drive from West London.

I haven't been greyhound racing too many times but isn't it a bit too tight or is it better like that than long straights followed by tight bend eg. Sunderland ?
|
|
By:
crayford has highest injury % of all tracks howard
|
|
By:
long straights where they sort themselves out are best...or even better hcaps do this anyway
sweeping bends preferably but that adds up to a LONG 4 bend trip well prepared & maintained, well watered track, cambered bends also important |

By:
not running dogs with niggles common sense but with kennel strength pressure there are cripples running on bags every day
|

Very sad news for all greyhound lovers...
