Have been an avid race goer and race TV watcher for years now. I think to get such coverage is fantastic. Not only that, but the in site from pundits and presenters  is so good. Its  cheerful too. I remember the days when you could only hear racing in a bookies unless you were at the track.

We are very lucky in this country to have so much free to air coverage of our sport in which the vast majority of the population are not interested in.

A few of the nostalgic posters will be on soon to tell you they preferred it when we had practically no TV coverage apart from a Saturday , the broadcaster frequently left the coverage for some exciting Ski jumping before even the SP had chance to emerge and as for results they used to like some crappy old teletext service that gave out results whenever they got around to it.

It's the march of technology Hayden. In the last 50 years the big advantage has passed from:-

1. bins on course (and a good memory)
2. paper formbooks and Timeform
3. VCR to record and examine in detail the 10 to 12 races televised each weekend
4. every race on telly
5. home recording by tech nerds of every race off the telly
6. computerised and online formbooks
7. replays online, on demand
8. drones and GPS and GPS in drones

The advantage came from not relying on your memory, but from making the effort to transcribe what you saw on-course into those paper form books.
