He called the wrong jockey on Ahoy Senor -Fox instead of Wadge.
Saw him do a Cheltenham preview locally years ago -at the end of 3 hours of intense discussion he was asked for his nap -Well Chief at 6/4 in the Champion Chase was the answer-on the grounds that the owner said he was in great shape.Fell at the second.Not sure if he is lazy,doesn't have an opinion -or both. |

Reminds me a little of Mapletoft who seems to believe in the wonderful world of Horse Racing too. Never once heard him be critical of any single thing in the game. I call it the Wonderful World of Simon Mapletoft

it must be difficult to talk for hours without the odd error. In general we have good people on the racing channels. I think their enthusiasm for the sport is heartening
