I,d imagine the only racegoers/punter going home today and telling the wife and kids THE GRASS IS GREEN and Rachel turned up would be TOM SCU and OILY BELL  Laugh

He called the wrong jockey on Ahoy Senor -Fox instead of Wadge.
Saw him do a Cheltenham preview locally years ago -at the end of 3 hours of intense discussion he was asked for his nap -Well Chief at 6/4 in the Champion Chase was the answer-on the grounds that the owner said he was in great shape.Fell at the second. Not sure if he is lazy, doesn't have an opinion -or both.

Reminds me a little of Mapletoft who seems to believe in the wonderful world of Horse Racing too.  Never once heard him be critical of any single thing in the game. I call it the Wonderful World of Simon Mapletoft Grin

it must be difficult to talk for hours without the odd error. In general we have good people on the racing channels. I think their enthusiasm for  the sport is heartening

for a sport so ravaged with dodgy folk it's amazing how all you hear from pundits is how lovely everyone is...

it's uncanny imv.
