My sound has been gone on direct coverage for about the last 2 weeks. Replays are fine as is every other video/audio source.
As I am a win8 holdout I thought this might be me and Firefox did a final no further support, legacy update round about the same time which might have been the issue. However tried a win10 laptop with msEdge browser and same result.
I will be contacting the webmaster at FG as if you right click the live frame and open sound controls, it looks as if they are broadcasting with mute switched on. (look at bottom RH corner below your own controls) This cannot be accessed to unmute as my laptops own playback controls prevail.
Anyone got the same issue, and if so can you post operating system and browser info ?

Same here on all browsers. Agreed it looks like no sound being provided on the stream so points to either an issue or deliberate decision at the source.
Have emailed the webmaster.
Thanks for the reply and in return, keep an eye on this apprentice flat jockey who is very stylish and I think will have a breakthrough this season. He has been learning his craft in the provinces so far.

Finished 6th on a 50/1 shot other day (Galik) and I had no complaints. So I watched his last win (in september
) and it was faultless, including fleeing round tight bends on really rough going. He might have caught the eye of Godolphin during pony racing successes but not sure.

I've got the same problem on laptop for 2 weeks, windows 11 Microsoft Edge also on Chrome.. all up to date. No sound except on replays. I thought it was just me. However, I also access FG on my mobile phone and the sound is on there. My phone is also connected to the router.
No idea what's going on.

Well spotted. So it's an issue with the video software they are using. Hopefully they will be able to resolve quickly.
Perhaps they could put some work Thommo's way.

RESULT - Webmaster was not at work yesterday due to no double time 
sad thing was the trotting was even with no sound.
(365 coverage not the same. Need to hear the jocks screaming at one another during a race. If they miced up the UK/Irish jockeys you would hear them discussing how much they had coming back once the race was fixed.)

Jury's out. They have swapped the feed so we have le trot between races. Not great.
Hopefully only a temp fix until normal service is resumed.
