Cider, not nervous in the least but a little bored winning that cup every year without a fight , so hopefully all ye Brits Welsh Scots English can get a army together to at least make us worry for a change...Cool

A lot of Mullins' have been lacklustre, but means little until the big days in the spring.

Even Ruby was talking about how badly a lot his novice hurdlers have been jumping.

Pretty much irrelevant to me where the horses live. What you want to see however is great horses and performances, and things are definitely warming up on that front.

Cider,I went to Navan today just to back Olm Man and by the grace of God talked myself out of it and backed Cap Coady e/w instead, I fully agree re Mullins and their jumping never seen them jump as bad as this year, I'm sure it will be rectified before the DRF.... Cider,

One would think so. Unlikely to be lack of schooling, and the many errors are early in the race, before any lack of fitness/fatigue would be an impact. Possibly better ground will help some of them.

Having the horses running well if half the battle. Having one of the best jockeys also helps. M Nolan is 7-10lb behind the elite ones imo and it keeps costing Hobbs/White races. It would have been close there for Lowrys Bar but it was a stopping mistake from which he kept on well so the trip was not a problem.

Ground in Thurles today was terrible and saw plenty of w/d ,several ran poorly especially those who liked a little cut in the ground, I'd say Inn in the Park been one , I backed this at 13/8 and the drift from 5/4 told its own story...Next big day is Thursday and I expect Gowran will be putting plenty of water on...Brilliant crowd there today...
