Plumpton have stopped letting ROA members (without a runner) in for free since they left the RCA. They are the only course to do this

Inspection tomorrow afternoon. I'm hopeful it continues to thaw as forecast.

Yes, as C.T. has already stated, an inspection today @ 15.00 and the temperature from midday onwards of around 6C dropping to 3C overnight then rising steadily until the first race to 11C ish.

We're all praying it goes ahead

Mr.C. I managed to get to the bottom of that as it just didn't look right to me. The course didn't tick the appropriate box and "couldn't override" it" for some reason!

So ROA members do get in without having a runner.

"The track has failed the 15.00 inspection.

Some frozen ground remains, but significant thaw has taken place.
Some improvement is still needed so we will inspect again @ 08.00 Tuesday 14th January."

They just posted this on "X".
