Said I'd try it today as racing wasn't plentiful , but won't be dipping my toe in again until they sort it out ..Two horses beaten in photos yet it never offered me anything only red ..Surely for a horse who lead for nearly 2 furlongs and was only just caught it MUST have gone green at some stage..Anyone else notice this today...

Yes but that's not the same as cash out , cashing out means you get your cash , you are not hoping it reaches your lay ...Anyway was trying to get in contact with Betfair re same only to notice they have FAILED to answer ANY questions regarding this , one question is even dated 2018....

You can’t really take a cash out in play anyway. By the time you’ve tried to cash out the figure has changed multiple times. Far better to place a lay at the price you want.

Maybe so s.kenbo but it usually works for me but not today that's for sure, you are not always sure to have your lay matched either...

Don't do cash out in running. Wr. Prices changing so quickly and no-one is fast enough

Again I agree, but I would know what amount I'm going to cash out at Freddie and its usually near what I'm after anyway, thing is today even when my horse would have gone 1.34/35 as I'm sure they did today it never actually went green ,I'm sure they'll say it was a glitch...

You can place a lay and still cash out before lay is matched
and then cash out cancels existing lay.

Thanks George for that information, it never showed near that for me, as I said already it showed RED right up to the line hence my amazement...
