One for me recently is COME ON JOHN
Backed his win 6 races ago and thought he was set for a run, but subsequently ran 32222.
Running again tomorrow Linggers 15:07 but I think the chance has gone. Looks a stronger race than his last 5.
(So he'll probably bolt up) WinkLaugh

Mine was a horse called DISCUSSIONTOFOLLOW. Won handicap at Kempton in fast time, then I followed him in all the top 6f sprints. only one one, that 5f cavalry charge at Ascot on Mad Saurday mid July. About ten years ago

Tasever & Kapparis Kid were a couple on my thread last year who were given too many chances, they eventually came good off much reduced marks and for different yards.

It all started when it finished like a train to be second. Went into the tracker. Now I think we're on a 48 losing run. The stakes have got lower and lower but I just can't give up.
Handicap mark just right for a 7-1 win. May I introduce you to my favorite nightmare - Asadjumerah. Should pop up soon!

How about another of my favorites YOURHOLIDAYISOVER. He was an absolute monkey in class 5/6 2m chases. Cruised into the lead on the bridle. Looked at the crowd. Gave up

Lennox Lewis had good form then went downhill quickly and changed stables to good trainers but it never won another race.

My Cliff dart player was Cliff Lazarenco. He usually found a way to lose after playing v well.

My Cliff snooker player was Cliff Thorburn. His games went on for so long they had to tag a few days on the end of each tournament to find a winner.
Thorburn once played Eddie Charlton in the old Benson and Hedges. Charlton went 4-0 up and Thorburn came back to win 5-4. They were still playing in to the early hours of the morning. They interviewed Cliff afterwards and he was so tired he couldn't remember if he had won or lost. I was in the audience and had lost the will to live on more than one occasion Crazy

I backed Colin Montgomerie 3 years on the trot to win the PGA at Wentworth......4 figure bets each time, each time we went very close but i gave up....first year i didnt back him , he wins...

i did keep the faith with Phil Mickelson though, and was rewarded....
