Everything in it's favour. Yard in form so why is my overly large gut telling me to lay it for medium steaks. Not much to lose & the sort of certainty that gives those bookie chappies a great start to the new year! Make up your own minds.

remember a pro gambler saying that in those sort of low grade handicaps he is wary of horses that haven't run for a long time ( on winning marks or even backclass ) Just the one in this race.   Those types can come to bookies rescue. And in this race the fav looked solid. Both on running and breeding the trip was highly likely to suit.

Just felt I had to take it on. Got it back & a bit more on drifter Rebel Empire. Drifting hardly ever affects the chances of the Hannon yard. Only bet very small on the horses these days to pass the time as mainly bet on the footie. Your reasoning was very good. I salute you, sir!
