I remember backing him a few times when I first started betting and he was at end of career, he seemed pretty useless. I know he won the national and was stable jock to Gordon Richards, but was he good?

Few forumites will not remember how prolific the combination of Nigel Tinkler and Graham McCourt were in northern novice hurdles with other peoples cast offs.

More a horseman than a jockey but that won races over fences when they were stiffer, and the likes of the old Haydock jumps track with its drop fences and need to be attritional sometimes.

Timmy Murphy was by far the coolest Jockey i have ever seen.....Sat plum last in these 20 plus runner Races i used to think look at that idiot Murphy he has got no chance from there and just about every time he got up to Win.Laugh

Mark Dwyer had no clue how to ride Jodami. It could well have been the trainer giving the wrong orders but he lost a Hennessy and a Gold Cup by sitting off a slow pace. When Rushing Wild went like a bat out of hell in the Gold Cup, Jodami went with him, burnt off the rest a mile out and was one of the easiest winners ever. In his early days, the stable conditional rode Jodami and set off in front every time and won by huge margins. Whose idea it was to hold him up I have no idea but if was plain daft. Neal Doughty was OK as far as I remember. Gordon Richards was a top trainer and would not have kept a poor jockey around.

ROFL Quixall, even after decades you have learned nothing!! Sage Dwyer did nothing wrong on Jodami in the Hennessey,I had £400 @ 9/2 on him and no fault of his at all, can be found on here btw, my old mates horse just found more than expected, named after places  where he loved and I shook his hand in defeat not too far from the Abbey!!!

We all have opinions.  Jodami could not win a handicap off 10.0 when held up but was Never beaten when making the running. He went a searching gallop but had no acceleration at all. Water under the bridge now.

Reg Crank on Cross Master looks like one of those hunter chase jockeys....No idea how Cross Master got that...I remember thinking it was a dead heat at worst for Strands of Gold, awaiting the outcome.

Have you seen a £20 bet posted Shafter?  That apart you seem to still be stalking and trolling as your envy is still eating your insides out!!

Does your brain extend to guilty feelings of the women you assaulted and children you abused?

Apologies tbh, might have got the Shafter character confused with a bona fide poster.

Shocked
