Tommie Jakes suspended for deliberately trying to fool the Clerk of the Scales at Wolverhampton

The Clerk of the Scales reported that Tommie Jakes, the rider of NAUGHTY EYES (IRE), placed third, trained by George Boughey, had deliberately weighed-in without his girth and surcingle. The rider, George Boughey’s representative, the Clerk of the Scales and the Steward were interviewed. Jakes was suspended for 3 days for deliberately weighing-in without a girth and surcingle.
