just goes to prove despite 10 yrs of ITV /chamberlain,oily etc trying to tell us otherwise racing is not a spectator sport,all about betting turnover, name another sport which would carry on with paying spectators seeing nothing

Consider one is lucky racing took place at all. Imagine AI was in operation. We might get simulated races to generate results purely for betting purposes, like it or not.

I've read of incidents, whether true or not I don't know, that some jockeys in thick fog back in the day, would hide down the back straight and only do one circuit instead of two

my understanding of the situation , although years ago, was if jockeys could see from one obstacle to another it was all ok .......just glad i didnt pay to get in !....on a lesser point , yes, it was rubbish tv  to watch .
