Finally they listened. But will any of those who left once they hit £250K lifetime actually return though or are they lost for good?

Without looking into too much detail can we say someone winning a smidgen under £100K will be approx £20k better off a year?

That's how I see it, Swifty, yes!

Earn up to £25k per year without paying any additional fees.
Earn up to £100k per year and pay only 20%.
Those earning >£100k per year now all pay 40%. 50% and 60% bands have been removed.

There are some negatives, such as implied commission on losses drops from 3% to 2.5%. But, overall looks like really good news for the ecosystem.

the lifetime 'issue' had to be addressed, it was bonkers after some people been on here 20years plus, it levels the laying field a bit on that front, and the new buffer system looks promising.

Isn't the buffer system the same as today, (only with a little less benefit from losing markets).

jamee, yes i guess so, was more thinking for those who were fixed at 20%+ due to lifetime they can now steer clear altogether if they stay under £25k a year, not really buffer related.

Yes, this is great news for the vast majority and should encourage some growth in traded volumes. Cool

Unless they classify an "expert" as lumping on AOHW after another disastrous day on the gg's - Farty will be ok imo.

Hi K

You will need to surpass £25,000 per year in profit to qualify for any charges
Profits will need to be over £100,000 per year to qualify for the highest rate of 40%

calculated on your last 52 weeks of active play Rico. If you've made less than 25k = 0.

so the calculation is previous yrs earning projected into the next year?

it isnt you can win £25,000 from jan 6th before you go into 20% then 40% when you surpass £100.000?
By:
howard

By:

as I understand it each week they will look at your last 52 weeks. If u have made less than 25k looking back each wed you will pay nowt.   I take it even in these hard times u have always made 25k in the previous 52 weeks ?
