When you think that Henderson used to have the brilliant Barry Geraghty ride for him its shocking how far this stable has fallen to have this glorified amateur in the saddle. Look at his recent rides in the racing post where his complete ineptitude has cost punters a fortune finishing 2nd/3rd when he was on the best horse.

He has the job because Henderson is blindly loyal to his fellow public school posh mate.

Newmarket - Everyone knows that you have a problem with this jockey, but why start another thread when you have one running, on the same subject, that you started just three days ago. Methinks you protest too much.

Jeez - he was winning huge races on Coneygree, Altior and Sprinter Sacre, 10 years ago, not exactly a newcomer

For the situation of Constitution Hill, today he rode an intelligent and perfect race

He has just won a match on the best horse of its generation in ideal conditions. At least he didn't get boxed in which is his normal trick in a 4 horse race. Does anyone think he is in the same league as Geraghty or McCoy who used to ride Henderson's superstars.
When Henderson retires Nico is finished.

Good enough to ride a Gold Cup Wnr for another trainer.

Nursed two great horses, on their comebacks after problems, into their races without any fuss or drama.

Riding at his peak at the moment. Well done Nico

What a knob you are - to the OP.
Slating jockeys.
Every jockey makes mistakes its human - we all do.
Nico makes no more mistakes than others in the same profession, if he did and was sub standard as you suggest, then Nicky and his owners would employ someone else.

And in response to your class hating comment re  "posh , public school " you just show yourself to have a huge chip on your shoulder as it makes you come across as an uneducated idiot.
There's nothing wrong with going to public school. In fact it's the best education money can buy. So if you're able to go to one and receive a decent level of education then you are very fortunate .

It's not something to be slated for.

Who doesn't want the best for their kids ?

Nico is ok. However it is getting boring in this Country, if you are well spoken you are a ****. Nothing wrong in that.

I'm well spoken and went to a top public school yet I'm not in least bit "posh."
It's a stupid word that carries no substance whatsoever.

Isabel looked the stronger of the two in the finish there. (12.05) Nicos left arm was static, didn't appear to be pushing the horse forward at all.

maybe he has a persistent shoulder injury that restricts movement ? hes had alot of injuries in his career, they are bound to take a toll as time goes on.

For all the people who abused me on here for giving a genuine held opinion watch the 12.05. He was outridden by Isabel Williams with the race at his mercy. He either wins on steering jobs or finds a way to lose when its close. He is not an elite jockey!! Am I the only one who can see it?

1.02 and 1.38 Doncaster more and more evidence..... Finding a way to lose. Remember though always lay Nico (unless he is on a stable superstar) and always back James Bowen. The odds then switch massively in your favour.
