Sounds sexist tbf acey, her stats are equal to plenty of experienced jockeys and PFN probably knows her latent ability better than anyone and I doubt nepotism comes into it, he is not so benevolent imo?

Like i said i hope she Wins but i would rather see a Professional up or a good experienced Claimer.

Much prefer a 7lb claimer to an injured rider claiming to be fit. Cobden is a long way from being back to fitness as well. Olive had a very good winner yesterday.

She looks half decent as a jockey/7lb claimer to be fair.
Prefer Stage Star over her mount though given the booking/pick of hoss.

Skelton's hoss for the fun combi t/cast

The term amateur can cover anyone from David Maxwell who does it for fun to Patrick Mullins who is as good as any professional in England or Ireland so means nothing at all to me. Either they can ride or they can't. Cobden and Gingell started as 7lb claiming amateurs.

If most punters react to a lady amateur the way the Forum does then of course it will drift. The price changes nothing for me apart from having some more on. I would be far more cautious about Stage Star. Since his fall on Dec 2, Cobden has ridden one winner, a long odds on bumper.

Nicholls is the sort of bloke who is prepared to put Pendleton on a horse, ruining its chance of winning in return for publicity. He's past it. Dan's the man.

this reminds me of another Nichols horse in this race POCULIEN, was about 8,s on the Fri I backed it and then backed it ever price for fivers all the way out to I think 36,s was the best price I took on the machine and all prices in between ,before leading all the way under PIMLOTT I think, one of my better days could we get a repeat 17.5 on Betfair currently and 4 places on sports book 12,s/14,s ,I backed it last time so I,ll throw a few quid at it ,as well as fugitz and GA law

By:

When: 14 Dec 24 13:03
weight important yes but not at the expense of inferior jockeyship, only got to look at stats for 5lb+ claimers in hcap chases to see that
By:
wondersobright
When: 14 Dec 24 13:04
and its compounded by the fact gingell is excellent for 3lb
so even if she wins on it the drift is correct

Il Ridoto shortening up steadily now. Not sure how Cobden thinks the ground is wrong. He has won on the horse on soft himself!
