Not easy to make up ground at Hexham. I tend to find that most of the winners are ridden fairly prominently, despite or maybe because of that stiff uphill climb before the home straight

a) In touch with leaders, dropped to rear before 3rd, lost ground before 5th, outpaced and not fluent 3 out, struggling when slightly hampered before 2 out, rallied and some headway run-in (op 4/1 tchd 7/2) b) Towards rear, mistake 5th, well behind

Next race 2 fences jumped and he's already several lengths off the back Probably win now

Last throughout Ran on passing 7 horses on the run-in, but again never troubled the placings

that musselburgh horse that conner won on the other day...absolutely blatant the run before imo

and horses are knocked right out given hard race when off as well
