In the old DOND that offer would have been 40k, always would have placed the value on the other side just like a typical cash out offer

Agree duffy , that £59k offer was to avoid paying out the maximum in the bankers mind as he would have fully expected a deal.

59k enough for anyone given what anyone could buy or do with it.

Greed was bad. (to misquote the film)

well done ,but these tight finished s are not good for the heart  !

...and should calculate value of difference, potential win above that was 41k so if 59k not enough, then 41k not enough to gamble for....

Incredible it ever survived the pilot episode. An entire game show with zero general knowledge or skill required, an utter borefest.

Put it on for the last 20 minutes, had the full checklist today, accident, cancer, baby photo that he looks at when he's at work, still got his wife if wins nothing, said he's been a risk taker all his life.

left with 75k, 4k, 1k and two blues ....was offered 9k and DEALT.

Ended up being left with 4k and 75k and would have been offered 39k.

Had the 75k in his box.
