Nice of Hayley and trainer-dad Gary to big up Le Patron, facile winner of the 2.30, pity was that their glowing accolade came post race with not even a hopeful squeak uttered pre-race! A pungent example of Father and Daughter employing the Punter Rhubarb Strategy  - feed 'em shoite and keep 'em in the dark!

Why do people think that a trainer would tell punters it was expected to run well?

Aftertiming alert: I missed the price but did not need the trainer to tell me Le Patron was a Grade 1 winner in a handicap.

Stewarty, i've used 'we' above, as a gender-neutral pronoun in order to refer to a singular antecedent without specifying gender.

Good to know that £11 had such a profound effect on the market, considering how much was traded on the race. It's the Xmas miracle

Ah so it was just you after timing to look good. Remember though the last bet you posted was a horse you laid, so I assume you won't be posting the lay bet that goes along with this one.

Wondered how long it would be before the gimp awoke to support the Rhubarb harvesters! Sparrow loves being spanked!
