That was my impression watching live. Just watched the run in again and that appears to be the case, both horses tracking left home straight. Not seen a head on

winner went a yd right after the last..they were the same distance from the far rail the last furlong.

Different shades of grass suggest a detour right for both hoses but if you seen the head on fair play

and..if the winner was 'carted across the track' how was it ever going to be disq?

An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference on the run to the line, involving the winner, LILTING VERSE (IRE), ridden by Connor Brace and MOONLIT POTTER, placed second, ridden by David Bass. The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved the placing of LILTING VERSE (IRE) as despite the mare hanging right-handed in the closing stages, the interference originated from MOONLIT POTTER, drifting left-handed and taking LILTING VERSE (IRE) slightly off its intended line.
nothing the stewards saw being carted across the track. |

MOONLIT POTTER, drifting left-handed and taking LILTING VERSE (IRE) slightly off its intended line. So not the same distance from the rail last furlong?
And it was more than slightly. And I agree why was there even a stewards in the 1st place nothing to see as the best horse won even after being impeded. |
