November 4th
Up early and off to the office at Whitehall, there was a tension around the London streets, rumours of a bread shortage, after corn price shot up by sixpence on early trading. Bank of England sent representatives to find out on why lord wetherbys crop failed,he blamed his land manager for not watering it enough.discussions to parade him round London to tithebarn to appease the peasants.inside they opted for a grilling by messers bell and fitz. Worried of a revolt, the king contacted the Duke of lambourne, asking for an update on consitution hill. Ate up and walked to the gallops ,news was quickly announced around the capital, praying this update will quell the tension.bakers told to work round the clock to keep supplies of bread. Farrinor the kings baker of pudding lane ,saved me 2 loafs,he looked exhaust I hope there’s no accidents. Off to the globe tonight, where a moments silence will be held for the scribe Down. |
