Really only 3 left in the race now, Wayne Hassett has 30 winners, Adam Caffrey has 29 and JJ Ryan has 28. Will be a good idea to keep an eye on their rides till end of season. What i don't understand is why Wayne isn't on his Uncles horse Magic Charm in the 4.00 and puts up other apprentice Paddy Harnett instead, you'd think horse has an EW chance in the race on this going. Keithens ride in the first has been heavily backed for a horse that has shown little so far, must think he's a fair bit better to go off about 9/4, i'm having a little EW on Watching for Ryan at 16/1 5 places.
Just saw a picture of James Ryan standing next to Champion jockey Colin Keane, he's a big tall lad in comparison, perhaps he's the next George Baker must be about 6ft tall. Won with 33 winners from Adam Caffrey and Wayne Hassett both on 31 winners. I Did say may pay to keep an eye on their mounts last 2 weeks, Ryan had 5 winners from 34 rides at 66/1, 7/1, 11/2, 11/2 and 3/1. Thought Wayne Hassett rather blew it last F/N with just one winner and a plethera of placed horses, Adam just ran out of good rides with just a double at Dundalk for his gaffer Aiden McGuineas last Wednesday. As Ryan gets older may struggle to do 8st 9lbs as he does now and claim only 3lbs, good luck to all 3 going forward been a cracking title race. It Will be very difficult to pick the winner for this season with Kennedy, Whearty, Kearney, Mulligan, Joyce and new kids like O' Sullivan, McGettigan, Pietropaulo and the young ladies Nicola Burns, Neve Bennett and Robyn Donahue-Leahy on the up, Ireland are well stocked with young talent.
