Horse missed the break, not his fault,  but in any case he should have been planning to take back and bring the horse wide, he has a big turn of foot this horse, don't trust to luck.

He instead rushed him up, burned energy at the wrong time, trusted to luck and ran out of petrol in the final half furlong.

Presumably…he wouldn’t have had to exert himself by having to extricate himself from the hole he was in that he could’ve held off the winner.

Thought he got beat fair n square and the really unlucky win was Irisine.
