No plaudits at all from me. I remember enjoying doing the Pacemaker Competition many years ago, and feeling chuffed when I just got my name in the publication. In recent times these competitions have now become 'targeted' with people putting in huge amounts to try and scoop the pot. Any fun has disappeared.

Pacemaker was a really good magazine and their original 10 to follow was far by the best.

He might use this money instead of punting during the season.
World's full of begrudgers. |

Should be a maximum limit on Entries. Just another flaw to an outdated game.

I remember when the prize money in the Ten to Follow made it a must enter competition not any more to be honest.
It's all gone a bit meh. Fair play to Robert all the same. |
|
By:
Disagree. You should be able to enter as many lines at a fiver that you want. Good luck to the guy.
Most of us could do 1000 lines and never be in the hunt. I done one line and finished in top 100. |
|
By:
Yes i agree mac you could spend thousands and still not get a line in the top ten.

The guy obviously has a sound knowledge about Horeracing and put it to maximum use i agree with you mac.

|
By:
Agree with the sentiments that the original Pacemaker comp was the best.

No mention of a 2024/5 jump competition on the Tote site. Anyone know if it is happening?

Thanks Go Ballistic. Appreciate it. Couple of weeks to study.
.... How is the NFL betting going for you so far? |
|
By:
Not great so far but tbf I mostly play small stakes in the 1st 5-6 weeks. Last week was better. Glad to see the Vikings finally lose after laying them both outright and in their division. Looking tomorrow's games right now. A few trappy ones I think.
How about yourself? |
