Stewards wanted to interview the jockey about that awful example of jockeyship, but he had scarpered the course, so it's been adjourned to a later date.

The Stewards wished to hold an enquiry into why Cameron Iles, the rider of CAPTAIN MARCO, which was pulled up, had failed to dismount his horse when it appeared to have gone lame, but were unable to do so as there was no suitable representative to accompany Iles in the enquiry, being a 7lb Claimer. They adjourned their enquiry to later date.

Prominent behind clear leaders, went second 7th, looked to go wrong and lost ground quickly after 8th, pulled up before 3 out

so having 'eventually' pulled it up he didn't even dismount it to have a look ??

Captain Marco now reported as deceased - the jockey should get a lengthy ban for his part in it
