Delius win and four places, looks way overpriced to me at 21 on here, finished 3rd to Sosie in the Grand Prix de Paris in July finishing like a train (fastest last furlong), got a little closer to the same horse in the Prix Neil after a break without being asked a serious question, today could be the day.

The supplemented Bluestocking has thrived this year and while I would have preferred more rain over recent days
she must still have a big chance, good draw and should be able sit just off the pace with no traffic worries (it could get messy)

12/1 on here with an excellent chance of at least finishing in the first five (2.04) and even carrying those
Dancing Brave colours to victory...

Bluestocking won the fastest trial on trials day,so your on the right race if the winner comes from trials day, which it tends to do.

some stats are good others bad, its the nature of stats generally

fillies have an excellent record in Arc 9 out of the last 16 winners
somebody fancies her was 13.00 now into 10.00 means nothing of course
but its not a drifter which would be more a concern

Sticking with Mqse De Sevinge.

She’s been on a terrific run winning G1s over a mile, 9f and 10f with her only defeat being on firm ground vs Inspiral.

Fabre has said two things all throughout this year - she’s going for the Arc and he expects her to improve for the step up to 12f so here we are.

She’s a deep closer so the draw isn’t an issue.

And savers on Bluestocking whose done nothing wrong this year and has a great draw and Survie…I thought her Arc dream was over after last time but Clement says he putting a line straight through that run. So what we have is a filly that only just got touched off the oaks and has a traditional French prep for this race.
Report comingupthehill October 6, 2024 12:18 PM BST
The French races, and the arc always seem to be fast at the Finnish.
I know that’s their style.

Got to back one that has a turn of foot.
Hence why Aiden hasn’t got a good record, his tend to dominate.

Watching last few runs looking for fast finishers might be best policy to find the winner.hence why fillies have good record,a bit faster on their feet

done most of my bets on this ante post at big prices  around 3 months ago, but its an open race and i fancy another at big odds , just 7 pound between the lot of em ,obviously loads with chances but one i like at big odds is zarakem who is rated 119 just a pound below al riffa and los angeles the top rated at 120 .he seems to run a good race then a bad run next time but he has plenty of ability as a very good 2nd to auguste rodin in the princess of wales at royal ascot shows he can mix it at the top level .
the step up to 12f could bring about plenty of improvement yard in good nick and no stranger to big race success goliath winning the king george in an open race i have had a pop ew 4 places around 66/1 and bigger on here .good luck keep them opinions coming .

Survie unexposed, getting all the allowances, just nutted in a G1 in front on none other than Tamfana. Tom Marquand on a 160 shot in a group 1. Has a look of a race that anything could happen so a few shekels for fun.

Report themightymac October 6, 2024 2:59 PM BST
Sunway has a terrible draw but that may not be a major hindrance as he is likely to be dropped in. Ran really well in the Leger despite a pathetic ride by jockey who gave him far too much to do. Thought he was on Pegasus. Going is fine. Softer the better. Has good stamina which may come into play on rain softened ground.

Lightly raced improving three-year-olds usually do well in this race and booking of Oisin a big big plus.

40/1 (ew) 1-2-3-4 with bookies in general

50/1 on here for a win

and 3/1 a Place on here first 5 looks a sporting wager for an interest.

The spread of RPR rating here is just 126 to 132 so just one check in running could cost a horse 6lb which confirms that it really could be won by which ever gets the cleanest run through. I have added a £1 bet on Mqse de Sevigne to Bluestocking ante post.
Report DonegalPrince October 6, 2024 3:17 PM BST
I have Sosie @ 20/1 so my view is somewhat bias. Today I have added Continuous , which is far too big for a horse that has been aimed at the race, stays, and came 5th last year. Also a small saver on Bluestocking, who has raced on  ground  with soft in the description with the following stats ....   3 - 3 - 6.

The winning owner gets nearly £2.5m. What does Rossa Eyan get?
Report sageform October 6, 2024 8:31 PM BST
Not sure in France but in GB the winning jockey gets around 8%. And in very big races an owner may give more such as a share in the horse but that is usually for stallions.
Report impossible123 October 6, 2024 10:21 PM BST
Cheers 'sageform'. 8% is still a stonking £200k = 1/2 a house in most places in the UK. But, Rossa Ryan deserves it. He kept it simple using Moore as a hare.

Congrats to winners but I am personally devastated and will never get over it.  Haya Zark was my Frankel, Sea The Stars, Dancing Brave, whatever they meant to anyone else.  I followed his career from day one, his ebullient owner Mrs Odette Fau, a Paris restaurateur and owner breeder, something on the lines of a perhaps less rich Kirsten Rausing, she even looks a bit like her to be honest, and his young up and coming trainer Adrien Fouassier, who it seems took a while to figure out he needed soft ground, which with the late rain, pushed the penetrometer up to 3.8 which was perfect, and I thought Buick had him expertly placed and in contention for an e.w. finish until tragedy occurred.
I do think he would have finished in front of Sosie.

I'd love to watch a replay but I can't and never will.  Yes an unconsidered outsider, easily dismissed, and typically, his death barely reported in the racing media.
He was due to go to stud, Mrs Fau had turned down over 20 offers for him.

I loved the colt and I looked forward all year to this race.

Best of luck next year !..
